Can I accept American Express cards?

What is the discount rate?

The discount rate is the percentage rate of each transaction that the processing companies such as Visa, MasterCard and Discover charge for transaction processing. The actual charge is determined by the way the transaction is processed, such as Swiped, Hand Keyed or ARU.

What is the Address Verifi¬cation System?

The Address Verification System, also known as AVS, is used for merchants processing mail, telephone and Internet purchases. The merchant is prompted to enter the customer’s home address. The AVS system compares the address received to the actual address on the card file. If the address information does not match, the AVS system will detect that for you. This feature provides security for the merchant by alerting the merchant to a potentially stolen card.

How will I get my money?

Your funds will be deposited in the designated account appearing on your Merchant Application.

Will I receive a statement?

Yes, you will receive a monthly statement that will breakdown day-to-day sales volume and associated processing fees.

What is PCI/DSS Compliance?

The National Network requirements to ensure that all companies/merchants that process, store or transmit credit card information maintain a secure environment.
